Club Sprint Cup 5 19. September 2018 Ourimbah MTB Park / NSW
Club Sprint Cup 6 3. October 2018 Ourimbah MTB Park / NSW
Format and Schedule
4-6 laps totalling in a racetime of approximately 1 hour for the faster riders. If you get lapped your race finishes on the lap you are on.

The races are all on a Wednesday night starting at 7pm and you will need lights for Cups held in September.

Two categories: Solo Male and Solo Female

There will be a podium photo taken after the race and you will be racing for glory but no prizes.

Entry fee is $20 per race and registration will open 24-48 hours before every race. This enables us to stay pretty flexible when it comes to wet weather. If a race gets washed out we will use the B-date as replacement. If more than 1 get washed out there will be less races in the cup.

If you already have a raceplate from a previous round please bring it with you – you will race all events with the same raceplate!

Towards the end of the race it gets dark so please bring your lights!

Race results can be found here and will be updated a few hours after every round.

CCMTB is hosting Round 3 of the NSW Junior Series on 29th of May 2016.

This will be run concurrently with our regular XC Rd 2.

A guideline for grading,

This is just a rough guide and the kids can choose any grade they feel comfortable with.

All kids from across NSW are encouraged to enter for fun.

There are no maximum or minimum races that must be entered.

XC Rd 8 Short track race report & results

Rain kept a lot of riders away yesterday but those who did come kept the heat on for all 3 races of the short track format. The longest lap was around 3.4Km keeping each of the 3 races short and sweet.

In A-Grade Justin Millington relied heavily on his road racing tactics by sitting on Liam Flanagan’s wheel for all but the last half a kilometre. Not to be out-foxed, Liam got the better of Justin in race 3 for a well deserved win.

The B-Grade field did well to minimise the gap to first but Shane Gillett continues to be unstoppable especially over the shorter distances. The punters also welcomed 2 new faces of Andrew Stockwell and Matt Christie, well done and hope to see you again soon lads.

C and D Grades were combined so everyone could keep one another company and it also proved for some close racing. Commiserations to Peter Cullen with a broken rear derailleur denying him a clean sweep and congratulations to Paris Millington for taking advantage of the opening and beating Cameron Gilchrist home on Race 3.

Next Race is GE Rd 6 11 October. Hope to see you there.
